1. Do not apply drive voltage exceeding the rated operating range of the FT-12T-8.0A1. Over‑voltage can lead to permanent depolarization or delamination of the ceramic layer.

3. Avoid exposure to corrosive gases, salt mist, or high humidity during storage and assembly. Oxidation of the brass substrate can degrade mechanical Q and solderability.
4. Keep elements in their original sealed packaging until use. Moisture absorption increases dielectric loss and may accelerate electrode deterioration.
5. Mount the element with support only around the substrate perimeter. Restricting the central vibrating area will alter the acoustic response and may cause premature failure.
